Had a cozy stay with a clean and spacious room, but the bar closing early was a disappointment.

The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The bathroom was new,, and free parking was a nice touch.

i recently stayed at this place in troutbeck bridge, and it was a huge upgrade from my last visit. the standard double room was spacious, featuring a big cozy bed and clean bathroom. also, the location was ideal for exploring lake windermere. It’s dog friendly, which made my pup happy.

Just a fitting option for a fleeting trip in Troutbeck Bridge with good price-value balance. The hot water in the shower was fantastic and really refreshing after a long day. Make sure to inquire about food options in advance as they might not be available when you arrive.

Rooms need a serious update—there were areas where the wallpaper was peeling, and I spotted a few patches of mold above the shower, which isn’t exactly a welcome sight. our first attempt at breakfast was thwarted by a locked door downstairs. the access some guests had to re-enter via a fire escape staircase raised a few eyebrows in terms of safety and convenience. No hair dryer in the room? If you’re counting on one, bring your own just in case.

the room was clean and comfy and the location was nice. It was dog friendly which is a big plus for us. we had good communication before check-in even tho it looked closed at first, and the space was decent for just a night stop. also, the owner was really welcoming despite the power issue that affected services.

The cooked breakfast was a real treat, with perfectly executed eggs and sausages that hit the spot. The room was comfy and spotlessly clean—a solid base to recharge after exploring. Plus, there was good hot water when showering in the morning!

Unfortunately, with the bar shutting at 9pm and no evening meals available, we had to venture out to find sustenance. The shower had a hiccup in the evening with lukewarm water, but thankfully it was a roaring hot power shower by morning. Would’ve loved a bit more toast at brekkie too!

The Standard Family Room was really spacious with a huge king bed and two bunk beds, which was great for us. The room felt fresh and clean, and there was a large TV to enjoy. Though the new owner seemed nice and accommodating, I heard they’re planning to revamp the rooms. There were some minor issues we noticed, but nothing too major. Plus, the location is super convenient and the bus stop was just outside for easy access to the area.

Room was comfy with free wi-fi and flat-screen TV. kettle worked great. No lift.

It was just an excellent fit for getting around the area in Troutbeck Bridge with great value for the money. The kettle in the room worked perfectly for making quick cups of tea. Check if they have pet-friendly options available for your stay.
